Potter and his V-Eight

I was lucky enough to give him a hand once at the starting line and you have it right about that guy. The thing I remember most was after he got it on the stand at this race the motor was idleing. He walked around the bike, got to the left side, threw his leg over the seat and the throttle was to the lock before his left foot left the ground. He smoke the tire clear through the timing lights. He was an amazing guy. He told me he bought the cheapest street tire he could fine because he only got one run per tire.
You could really get a thrill when you were right beside him on the starting line.
